Eastbourne Borough are delighted to welcome back Hugo Langton as the club’s new Assistant Manager.

Langton will of course be no stranger to the Sports having been Tommy Widdrington’s Assistant Manager during his first tenure, and he re-joins the club to complete the new backroom team at Connect Management Stadium.

He joins First Team Coach Robbie Blake to support Widdrington moving forwards.

Langton has worked with Widdrington at a number of previous clubs with varying roles and will bring with him a diverse skillset having previously had managerial/assistant managerial experience with a number of clubs including Lewes, Horsham and Welling United.

Langton said: “I’m really pleased to be back. I really enjoyed my time here before when I was with Tommy.

“The club’s obviously a little bit different now then when it was when I was last here, but I’m really excited to be part of the future.

“I’m here because I want to support Tommy – I want to help the club and the players to win as many games as we can.

“Hopefully we can put on a performance against Hampton after a good week of training working with Robbie (Blake). There’s a lot of work to do, but we’re up for the challenge.”
