The 20-year-old will provide valuable cover in our goalkeeping ranks. Taylor is a familiar face to many supporters, having deputised at short notice for Lee Worgan last season – notably in a 4-3 thriller at Dorking Wanderers. He was at Crawley Town last season – working, of course, with coach Dean Lightwood, who returned to the Lane in close season from CrawleyTaylor He goes straight into the first team squad which faces Ebbsfleet United in this evening’s (Tuesday) National South contest here at the SO Legal Stadium.
Danny Bloor comments: “We are delighted to have Taylor back in our ranks. He will provide important cover in the goalkeeping department as we launch into what will be a long and demanding season. Taylor has looked very impressive during our pre-season training and I’m really glad to have him on board!”
Taylor, who turns 21 next month, has experience with Lewes FC and Burgess Hill Town, and was previously with Portsmouth Football Club before his move to Crawley Town.
Welcome (back), Taylor!
