FIRSTLY:
Our friends at Worthing Football Club have today (Thursday 22nd) issued this very helpful information for Borough supporters:
As we expect another bumper crowd for this Emirates FA Cup fixture, we will be carefully monitoring our pre-match ticket sales.
This will place a limit on the number of supporters who will be able to pay at the gate on match day. So, whilst some tickets will be available to purchase on the gate, we cannot guarantee how many.
Therefore, given journey times, we advise all Eastbourne Borough fans to buy their tickets online in advance before 23.59 hrs on Friday 30th September, where they will also be able to benefit from our favourable advanced ticket prices.
On arrival, Eastbourne Borough Supporters are asked to enter through the away entrance, in the North East corner of the ground on Woodside Road’. Stewards will be on hand to help.
Once inside the stadium, there will be no segregation, with both home and away supporters able to access all areas and facilities throughout the ground.
We look forward to welcoming all supporters to the Crucial Environmental Stadium on Saturday 1st October.
SECONDLY:
Please be aware that industrial action is expected on Saturday 1st October – and there are unlikely to be any trains from Eastbourne to Worthing. And as many of you know, on-street parking is very difficult around Woodside Road. What’s the answer? The Borough Megabus!!
We have secured a coach for supporters, at a return fare of £12.00 (which the Railway Warriors will tell you is very similar to the rail fare, if not cheaper). But we MUST have your firm bookings, and payment with the booking. For full details and to make bookings, message or mail Sian Ansell on commercial@ebfc.co.uk
Come and support the boys! This is surely the match of the round. Up the Boro!
