Eastbourne Borough Football Club have today confirmed that central midfielder Jaden Perez has signed a new 2.5 year contract, keeping him at the club until May 2025.

Perez, 21, signed for Borough in the summer of 2020 and has at times had to be patient. Going out on loan at the start of the 2021 season he returned to the squad and made his debut for the first team in November 2021.

Danny Bloor said
“I am absolutely delighted that Jaden has committed his long term future to us here at Eastbourne Borough.
Jaden had trained with us and had been around the group for a long time before getting his opportunity just over a year ago after the departure of James Ferry.
Jaden came into the side and produced a Player of the match performance in his first game for us against Chelmsford.
He quickly grew into a very very important player for us and he is a player who I still think there is more to come from.
His range of passing is excellent and he has now become an important member of our squad.”

Jaden commented “I can’t thank the manager and all the coaches for putting the trust in me that they have.
The players and fans couldn’t have been more welcoming and the board have really helped me. This club is really special and signing an extension was a no brainer!
I look forward to continuing my development at this club.
I hope for more great memories and success in the near future.”

Jaden is part of the squad for this Saturdays home game against Oxford – 3pm Kick Off.
