The 19 year old defender who signed his first professional contract for Palace in July 2022 has featured for their Under 21s this season. Bartley is a powerful centre-back who is also capable of filling in at right back.

The loan agreement which sees Ryan at the So Legal Community Stadium until the end of the 22/23 season strengths Danny Bloor’s current squad.

Danny Bloor said “ Ryan is a player we have had our eye on for a while and when the opportunity arose to take him on loan until the end of the season came up it was a no brainer.
With Alex Wynter and Brad Barry both missing due to injuries Ryan supplements our defensive options.
He is a ball playing defender and will build into what we do both on and off the pitch.
