Eastbourne Borough are delighted to announce that Jack Burchell has agreed terms.
Centre-back Jack Burchell arrived at the Lane in November 2022, after two years in Watford Football Club’s highly regarded development system.
Making an impact in the Trophy game at Ebbsfleet where he replaced an injured Mitch Dickenson, Jack went on to make his full league debut at Hemel Hempstead with a performance that saw him awarded player of the match and he has featured in Danny Bloors squad ever since.
Jack, 20, said “ I joined Eastbourne because I think it’s a great club with real ambition on what they want to achieve.
I think their playing style really suits me so that was a big factor.
Everyone at the club from the players, staff and fans have been really welcoming, and I’m looking forward to what we can achieve here.”

“I am absolutely delighted that Jack has committed his future to us here at Eastbourne Borough Football Club
Jack came in with us initially on trial and and in a short space of time he has grabbed the opportunity given to him with the unfortunate injury of Alex Wynter with both hands.
Jack is a player who has spent his youth career at Watford and you can see what a talented footballer he is.
A good defender, very good in the air and always wants the ball and he fits in with how we want things done.
He is a player we are looking forward to working with and developing here at Eastbourne Borough.”
