Mark Beard’s side will be hoping to make it three games unbeaten as they travel to newly-promoted Aveley tonight (Monday).

The Sports have four points from their first two outings ahead of the trip to Parkside Stadium.

And Borough are expected to make changes from Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Farnborough, with the quick turnaround giving the opportunity to those who haven’t featured as often to impress.

Tonight’s hosts are playing at this level for the first time after winning the Isthmian Premier Play-Offs last term, and opened the season with a narrow defeat at Chippenham Town.

But Danny Scopes’ side got off the mark – and in impressive style – on Saturday when they beat Taunton Town 4-1 in their first home game of the campaign.

Siju Odelusi scored a hat-trick for The Millers in the rout, including a brace in the first half, with Charlee Hughes also on target in the rout.

As a result the Sports will have to be switched on from the outset as they look to return to winning ways after an entertaining draw at Farnborough last time out.

Stefan Vukoje came off the bench to score on debut as he cancelled out Alfie Pavey’s first half opener in Hampshire.

Both teams had chances late on as the game could have gone either way, but ultimately the points were shared.
