Eastbourne Borough are delighted to confirm that we have extended the loan of Sam Beard for a further month from Barnet.

The full-back has already spent a month at Priory Lane, and scored a memorable goal in the 2-1 win over Weston-super-Mare at the start of September.

Now his stay on the south coast has been prolonged by another month from the National League side.

“I’m really happy we are able to extend Sam’s loan for another month,” said boss Mark Beard.

“He’s had a good month here, including three man of the match performances and a great strike against Weston.

“I’d like to thank Barnet for their co-operation and look forward to working with him for another month.”

Defender Beard has so far made six appearances for the Sports in the National League South, scoring one goal.
