Eastbourne Borough Football Club can confirm the departure of Women’s First Team Manager Richard Dyson.

The Sports would like to put on record our thanks to Richard, who has played a massive role in getting the Women to where they are today.

He managed the team as they secured back-to-back promotions in the Sussex County Women & Girls Football League structure, from Division Two up to the Premier Division.

In their inaugural campaign in 2021/22, the Women lost just one game on their way to the Division Two title, scoring 95 goals in just twelve games.

Then last season, a third place finish in Division One proved enough to earn them a second successive promotion, finishing behind Eastbourne Town and Horsham Sparrows.

Richard has gone above and beyond over several years to get the team where they are, and leaves his role at Priory Lane with our best wishes for the future.

The club will be announcing a replacement in the near future.
