Eastbourne Borough FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Brown as Community Manager with immediate effect.
Tim is already a familiar face here at Priory Lane, having previously coached several of our teams over the past few years including our current U13 Black squad, women’s first team and launching our Goalkeeper Academy.
Tim will continue to run our Soccer Schools Programme, our annual community ‘World Cup Fun Day’ event and our ‘Sports Stars’, Year 1 Development and ‘Spirit of Football’ squads, and alongside these he will be working closely with our local community on several exciting projects.
These include working with our local schools, colleges, the DGH, disadvantaged groups and our charity for this year ‘You Raise Me Up.’
“I am so excited to be given this amazing opportunity to help our club make an even greater positive impact across our local community,” said Tim.
“We already have a sound platform to build on but I cannot wait to take our community work to even greater heights with some of the exciting plans we are keen to develop.
“Having spoken to Simon and Alan about their plans and ideas I didn’t really have to think twice about taking on the role.
“As a Bank Manager in the town for many years I feel like I’m coming home and so I cannot wait to get started.
“I will be working hard to make Eastbourne Borough an even greater force for good right across our town and so I’m looking forward to providing updates on future community initiatives and special events in the coming months.”
