Eastbourne Borough Football Club were delighted to recently receive grant funding from The National League Trust, which has enabled us to invest in some much needed football equipment for our Community Football Squads.

Tim Brown, Community Manager here at Priory Lane explained: “We would like to thank The National League Trust for their generous support in allowing us to invest in much needed training equipment for our Community Coaches, who do a magnificent job in running our Holiday Soccer Schools, boys and girls Development Centres and our Disability Squad.

“Thanks to their help we are now fully equipped to deliver our high quality football programmes to every corner of our Eastbourne community.”

The National League Trust supports community programmes at clubs who are members of the three divisions of the National League.

Their support comes in the form of grant aid and development advice. Their grant aid programme is made possible by the generous support of the Trust’s funding partners: the Premier League and the Professional Footballer’s Association.

Since October 2010 both bodies have committed annual support to the Trust, currently £1.2m each year. So far the total contribution is £11.4m.
