Fabulous new shirts for Eastbourne Borough FC ‘Spirit of Football’ Squad were recently presented to the players at their Saturday training session, thanks to the kind generosity of official club sponsors Norwegian Cruise Line and EF (Education First).
The club’s disability team are set to debut their new shirts in their role as match day mascots for all men’s first team games this season, and in addition to wearing them to Saturday training the players are also looking forward to playing in them when they take on teams from across the county in the Sussex Disability Football League.
Head Coach Tim Brown was delighted to see his team kitted out in their new club attire. He said: “The players were so excited to finally see their new shirts and try them on – they absolutely love them!
“My coaches, parents and players would like to thank both Norwegian Cruise Line and EF Education First for their incredible generosity and support to the team, and judging by the laughter and smiles on display all morning the children have clearly given the shirts a big thumbs up!”
Eastbourne Borough FC ‘Spirit of Football’ Squad was founded six years ago at Priory Lane, and provides fully inclusive fun packed football for local children aged 5-20 years of age with mental and physical disabilities.
Training is held on Saturday mornings from 11am to midday on the 3G pitch at Priory Lane Stadium. For full details contact Tim Brown, Head Coach – community@ebfc.co.uk.
