Eastbourne Borough are excited to announce the signing of Louis Collins from Whitehawk.

Collins, 22, arrives from the Isthmian Premier side from across East Sussex and is available for selection for tonight’s match with Torquay United.

Louis was at Tonbridge Angels last season, and spent time on loan at Folkestone Invicta and Hastings United.

Before moving to Tonbridge he spent some time with Margate, making seven appearances for Gate at the end of the 21-22 season. Prior to his time at Hartsdown Park he was turning out a step higher for one of Gate’s local rivals, Dover Athletic.

He previously had two spells with Sevenoaks Town, and prior to that was with Scunthorpe United, and also played youth football with Millwall, Ebbsfleet United and Bromley. He scored 47 goals in 23 games with Ebsfleet’s Under 15’s, and was also top scorer as an Under 16 with Bromley, winning the Kent Youth League Golden Boot two seasons in succession before heading to Scunthorpe.
