Eastbourne Borough Football Club are excited to announce that Stagecoach South East are a new official partner as well as back of shirt sponsors for 2024/25.
Stagecoach is the largest bus company in the UK and locally within the South East employs 1,300 people, running from the East Kent coast all the way through to Brighton, with a depot providing town services here in Eastbourne.
Supporters outside of Eastbourne can now use bus travel to get into the town, with their new 701 service connecting Eastbourne and Brighton, serving Seaford, Newhaven and Falmer, or the 99 bringing supporters in from Hastings and Bexhill.
Joel Mitchell, Managing Director of Stagecoach South East, said: “We are so excited to be forming this partnership with Eastbourne Borough FC. After a hugely challenging five years for the bus industry, we really believe that we are at the start of an incredibly exciting chapter in the Stagecoach South East story.
“We genuinely feel that the same applies to Eastbourne Borough too – it’s the start of something truly special here as well.
“We work hard to be at the heart of the communities that we serve and see many similar values between us and Eastbourne Borough Football Club. We’re incredibly excited to see what this partnership can bring to the people of Eastbourne, East Sussex and across the South East of England.”
The Sports and Stagecoach South East will work together to further support our local community and continue to build and connect people within the local area.
Don’t forget, the Stagecoach ‘Loop’ service also takes you right outside the entrance to Priory Lane!
Borough Chief Executive Alan Williams added: “We are delighted to be working with a well-known, established transport provider.
“Having met with Joel and Stagecoach’s Marketing Manager, Hannah Bland, it is clear that they share our visions of having the community at the heart of their work and we look forward to working with them.
“Stagecoach South East is Eastbourne’s lead bus company, and I am sure supporters will use their services to travel to and from our home games at Priory Lane.”
