Reflecting on his move, “It feels really good to join the club. I’ve heard a lot of good things and I’m really excited to start the season.” The positive reputation of Eastbourne Borough was a key factor in his decision. “The playing style here suits me well. I thought I would be a good fit”.
Carson is aware of the challenges that come with transitioning from playing in Canada to England, but he is ready to embrace them. “Already I can tell it’s a lot more physical here, which I like because I’m a physical player. The competition is also a lot better here. It will definitely be different, but I’m excited and I think I’ll do well”.
Setting his sights on the upcoming season, Carson has clear goals. “Obviously promotion is everyone’s goal, so I would say that, and just being a part of it” he stated.
When asked about professional players he admires or resembles, Carson mentioned “I watch a lot of Rodri,” highlighting his admiration for the player’s style and skill.
