Eastbourne Borough FC is delighted to announce the signing of Brayden Johnson. Joining us with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to the club’s values, Brayden brings a fresh perspective and a determination to succeed.
Reflecting on his move, Brayden shared his initial thoughts: “It is a massive club, so coming here is very exciting. You want to express yourself and give your best for the team.”
The allure of Eastbourne Borough’s stature played a significant role in Brayden’s decision to join. “The size and ambition of the club definitely attracted me,” he said.
Brayden acknowledges the challenge of transitioning from Step 6 football to playing for Eastbourne Borough, but is optimistic about the support and guidance he will receive. “It’s a massive jump, but learning things tactically from the coaches allows you to simplify your game and understand your role. With such good quality coaches at Eastbourne, it makes the transition easier”.
Brayden has set clear personal goals for the upcoming season. “My main goal is to get into the first team and become a starter,” he stated confidently.
When asked about professional players he admires or resembles, Brayden mentioned, “A few people say I’m similar to Kobbie Mainoo. Off the ball, sometimes I can be like Kante. It’s not a bad mix.” This blend of skills and attributes makes Brayden a versatile and valuable addition to the squad.
To the Eastbourne Borough supporters, Brayden has a heartfelt message: “Every match, I’ll put in 100% effort because I appreciate how big this club is and the demand from the fans and the support you give. With every single match I play, and every single training session, I’ll give 100% effort to constantly improve and put my body on the line for the club.”
As Brayden Johnson joins Eastbourne Borough FC, the club is excited to see the impact he will make on and off the pitch.
Welcome, Brayden!
