Eastbourne Borough FC concluded their pre-season campaign on a high note with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Lewes FC at The Dripping Pan. The match saw Eastbourne taking the lead through Klass, who smashed it home from close after a well-delivered cross from Sesay.
Lewes responded with an equaliser, making the game an exciting contest. However, Eastbourne regained the lead when Ballard McBride was brought down in the box, allowing Pavey to step up and confidently convert the penalty. The game showcased Eastbourne’s attacking prowess and determination to secure a win as they head into the regular season.
Another good test today and run out for the team as we enter the final week of preparations for The Sports first game of the season Saturday 10th August. Make sure to get your tickets now!
