Eastbourne Borough can confirm forward Siya Ligendza has joined Isthmian Premier side Bognor Regis Town on an initial one month loan deal.

The former Cardiff City youngster joined the Sports in January 2024 and was one of Adam Murray’s first signings as Borough boss.

The striker has featured 22 times for the Sports this season, but only six of those have been starts.

And with a busy January and February on the horizon, boss Murray hopes Ligendza can get regular football before coming back and playing his part in a strong second half of the season.

He said: “We want Siya to get minutes. We feel going in to January and February we have a lot of games and we need people up to match speed.

“It will be good for him to go out and get regular minutes in order to come back better for us.”
