Both Eastbourne Borough Women and Under 18s enjoyed cup success on Sunday.

Chris Day’s side progressed to the Semi-Finals of the Sussex FA Women’s Challenge Trophy without kicking a ball, however, after opponents Worthing Town couldn’t raise a side.

They now face Burgess Hill Town in the last four of the competition in the new year.

Borough Under 18s returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Billinghurst at Priory Lane. Goals either side of half-time secured the young Sports’ passage into the last 16 of the Sussex FA Dennis Probee Youth Cup.

They now travel to Haywards Heath Town for a place in the Quarter-Finals on December 1st.
