Eastbourne Borough welcome Bognor Regis Town to The ReachTV Stadium with a place in the semi-finals of the Sussex Transport Senior Cup up for grabs.
With the final taking place at The AMEX Stadium, the Sports will be looking to bounce back following the disappointment of losing in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
Adam Murray’s side fell just short of making history and reaching the Fourth Round for the first time in their history – with Kwesi Appiah scoring ten minutes from time to give Boreham Wood a 1-0 win at Meadow Park.
It was the seventh time have been knocked out at the Third Round stage – and the third time in four seasons.
But attention now turns to the Sussex Senior Cup, with Borough looking to reach the final for the first time since they won it in 2015/16.
The Sports have beaten Little Common and local rivals Lewes to get to the last eight, and come up against a Bognor Regis Town side who are struggling in the Isthmian League Premier.
Head-to-Head
The Sports completed a league double over the Rocks the last time the West Sussex side were in the National League South in 2017/18. Kane Wills struck a second half winner at Nyewood Lane, before the Sports sealed a routine 3-0 win in April 2018. Shaun Okojie, Jamie Taylor and Gavin McCallum got the goals.
It was the Sports who prevailed the last time the two teams met in the Senior Cup as well, winning 3-2 after extra time in the semi-finals on their way to lifting the cup.
The Rocks’ last win over Borough came in September 2017, when they won 2-0 at The ReachTV Stadium in the Emirates FA Cup Third Qualifying Round.
