An appearance at The AMEX Stadium is the prize for the winners of tonight’s Sussex Transport Senior Cup Semi-Final tie as Eastbourne Borough take on Littlehampton Town.

The last four tie at Culver Road, Lancing, sees the Sports face Isthmian South-East opposition – with Adam Murray’s side looking to avoid an upset.

Borough have beat Little Common in Round Two, before consecutive wins over Isthmian Premier opposition.

A 2-0 win away at local rivals Lewes was followed by a 2-1 win over Bognor Regis Town in the quarter-finals – a victory more comfortable than the scoreline suggested.

The Sports last lifted the Senior Cup in 2015/16 – beating Worthing 1-0 – and last made the semi-finals back in 2020, where the competition was null and voided due to lockdown.

Murray will take the tie seriously as Borough turn their attention away from the National League South, though two players have been registered to be included in tonight’s tie at Sussex FA HQ.

Assistant Manager Matt Green and former Huddersfield Town youth product Ernaldo Krasniqi have both signed non-contract forms and are set to play some part this evening.

Littlehampton have seen off two Southern Combination League opponents on their way to the last four – with a 3-2 win over Peacehaven & Telscombe before beating Crawley Down Gatwick on penalties.

The Golds – who reached the final of the FA Vase at Wembley back in the summer of 2022 – then beat fellow Isthmian South-East side Lancing 2-1 in the quarter-final.

Under Mitch Hand, Littlehampton sit 18th in the table – six points clear of the bottom four – and will be out to cause an upset.

Kick off is 7.30pm at Culver Road – click here for further information for supporters.
