Eastbourne Borough Women completed a memorable season on Saturday when they lifted the Sussex County Women & Girls Football League Cup at Culver Road.

The 5-0 win over Hailsham Town saw Chris Day’s side complete the Quadruple – having already won the SCWGFL Premier, Sussex FA Women’s Trophy and Eastbourne FA Cup.

Borough skipper Kellie Larkin got the opening goal 14 minutes in, heading home from a corner, before Izzy Payne doubled the lead with a great strike from outside the area.

The Sports made it 3-0 before the break through Ruby Starkey, before Megan Griffiths and Charlotte Gurr added to the tally early in the second half to complete a comfortable win for Day’s side!
