Eastbourne Borough would like to wish Courtney Clarke all the best after he completed his move to EFL League Two side Walsall.
After joining last summer from South Shields, Clarke became an instant hit at The ReachTV Stadium – making 42 appearances for the Sports.
The 22-year-old also chipped in with three goals and several assists from out wide as the club narrowly missed out on promotion to The National League, with Clarke winning the Young Player of the Year Award for 2024/25.

Supporters have enjoyed watching Courtney develop and grow throughout the season, and the club have agreed an undisclosed compensation fee with Walsall ahead of the move.
Courtney follows Brayden Johnson and Fletcher Holman to make the leap into the Football League – and Premier League in Fletcher’s case – and is another case of the club’s dedication to providing a pathway for young, exciting talent to play at the highest level they can.
We wish Courtney all the best for the future and look forward to seeing his progress in the Football League.
