Eastbourne Borough will face Aldershot Town in a pre-season friendly this summer at The ReachTV Stadium.

The Shots won the FA Trophy at Wembley in May, and former Borough boss Tommy Widdrington will be visiting his former club on Tuesday 22 July, with kick off 7.45pm.

Borough faced Aldershot in pre-season two years ago, with the Sports prevailing with a 1-0 win in East Sussex against the National League outfit.

After ending the season in 16th spot, three second half goals saw the Shots lift the FA Trophy with a 3-0 win over Spennymoor Town at Wembley.

This is the third pre-season date confirmed by the Sports, with trips to Farnham Town and Dartford confirmed before facing the Shots at The ReachTV Stadium.
