Eastbourne Borough Women celebrated their record-breaking campaign on Saturday night with their End of Season Awards Night.
Chris Day’s side finished the season with a 100% record in the Sussex County Women & Girls Football League Premier and completed the campaign without conceding a league goal.
Borough Women also went on to win the Sussex FA Women’s Challenge Trophy, Eastbourne FA Chairman’s Cup and Sussex County Women & Girls League Cup to complete a historic quadruple.

“It’s been amazing to watch the Women’s team create history this season,” said Chairman Simon Leslie.
“They have created an elite environment where they all work together and fully deserve all the success they have enjoyed this year.
“The job Chris and his staff have done can’t be underestimated, and I look forward to seeing their progress at a higher level next season.”
A packed Founder’s Bar saw Holly Carter presented with a ‘Borough Values’ Award, whilst Becky Simmons was awarded the Golden Boot for scoring 32 goals over all competitions.
Abbie Tucker won Coaches Player of the Season, with Lola Dulake winning both Young Player of the Season and Player’s Player of the Season.
Manager Day added: “For me the successes were not only in terms of the trophies won, but also in the players becoming role models for our younger age groups, and show a pathway for the very best young talent in the South-East.
“Some of our players had fallen out of love with the game so to get them back enjoying their football has been a huge part of our success.
“We’ve put Borough on the map in the women’s game, and with Simon and Alan’s support we very much aim to continue this next season.”
We look forward to watching the team progress as they make the step up to The London & South East Regional Women’s League in 2025/26!
