Eastbourne Borough can reveal the signing of forward Victor Akinwale from Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old forward, who can play central or out wide, came through the Academy at Selhurst Park, and becomes the sixth new face of the summer for Matt Gray’s side.
“Victor comes in as my first loan signing, but someone who I’ve seen play at Crystal Palace,” said boss Gray.
“He has huge potential and will add real competition and provide a good dynamic to our forward line.
“I’d like to thank Gary Issott, the Academy Manager, for his help in the move and look forward to working with him.”
The forward was prolific for Palace’s Under 18 side, and made the step up to play in the Premier League 2 regularly over the last two seasons having made his U23 debut as a 16-year-old in February 2021.
He also won caps for England at both Under 17 and Under 18 level.
We can’t wait to see you in action at The ReachTV Stadium, Victor!
