Eastbourne Borough are excited to announce the signing of Harvey Lintott from Northampton Town.

The 22-year-old full-back arrives having already had plenty of experience in the Football League, making over 50 EFL appearances over spells with Gillingham and Northampton in League One and Two.

Boss Matt Gray said: “I’m delighted to bring another young player who has huge potential.

“However, he has already played over 20 League One games and over 30 in League Two, so has good experience and brings some really strong attributes as well as competition into the back four.

“He’s someone I came across when he was at Northampton, and for us to get him in I’m delighted and look forward to working with him.”

After playing youth football at the club, Lintott signed his first professional contract with The Gills in April 2021 – making his senior debut in August 2021. After making 11 appearances in his debut season in League One, he was released following the club’s relegation.

In 2022/23, he joined Northampton Town and made 33 League Two appearances as he helped the Cobblers win promotion to League One, scoring once. Lintott made 19 appearances over the next two seasons, before he ended last season on loan at League of Ireland Premier side Sligo Rovers.
