Eastbourne Borough FC’s youth section have received a generous gift of two 7-a-side 12 × 6 football goals from Progoal provided free of charge to support youth coaching and foundation phase match days.

The Progoal range features club level match goals, pop up goals and garden football goals that can be used at home in the garden. Their parent company is The Soccer Store who supply everything football to clubs throughout the UK.

Strengthening Youth Development

The Progoal donation arrives at a pivotal time for EBFC’s youth programme, which aims to offer structured and safe environments for junior players—a key driver behind the club’s community-focused strategy. With regular structured training sessions and community programs, having reliable equipment like these goals improves development opportunities for all age groups.

Jack Hart from The Soccer said “It is great to get involved with Grassroots clubs like Eastbourne Borough. We are sure that the football goals supplied to them will be put to good use and we wish them continued success with their youth section.”

Nick Spiers, EBFC’s Head of Football Operations added: “This donation is a great example of how businesses can make a real impact. These new goals will benefit hundreds of young players at our club and help our coaches during training sessions and matchdays. We thank Soccer Store for their continued support to grassroots youth football.

The newly gifted goals are expected to debut at youth training in the coming weeks before being rolled out in club fixtures predominantly in the foundation phase age groups. Parents and players are encouraged to follow EBFC Youth and visit The Soccer Store website.
