Eastbourne Borough are excited to announce the signing of goalkeeper Woody Williamson on loan from EFL Championship side Ipswich Town.

Williamson, 19, has risen through the Academy ranks at Portman Road. The goalkeeper is a Scottish youth international, having earned caps at U18 and U19 level.

The young Scot has gained first-team experience with loan spells at Cheshunt and Chelmsford, and joins after making nine appearances for Ipswich Under 21s this season in Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup.

He was also named in Scotland’s UEFA Euro Under 21 Qualifying squad in November.
