Eastbourne Borough Under 18s know that local bragging rights are up for grabs tonight when Eastbourne Town make the short journey to Connect Management Stadium.
Mark Standen’s side will be looking to bounce back to winning ways following a 3-0 defeat away at league leaders Horsham last time out.
After a goalless first half, it was the hosts who were in the ascendancy after the break – scoring twice in as many minutes to put them in the driving seat.
Borough had a man sent off at Fusion Aviation Stadium before Horsham added a third late on.
It was the Sports’ fourth league defeat of the campaign – leaving them five points off the top of the table at the midway point of the Isthmian Youth South season.
The teams have met on two occasions already this season – with one win apiece.
Borough progressed in the FA Youth Cup with a big 6-1 win at The Saffrons in September – although it was Town who edged the last meeting between the two in the league game in November – prevailing 2-1.
Entry is FREE at Connect Management Stadium tonight – with the tea bar open for all your hot and cold refreshment needs!
