Eastbourne Borough are delighted to announce the loan signing of Mathaeus Roberts from EFL League One side Stevenage.

A product of the Arsenal and Ipswich Town academies, the attacking midfielder joined Alex Revell’s squad after scoring against Swansea City and Barnet, as well as scoring a hat-trick against Bishop’s Stortford during Boro’s preparations for the 2025/26 League One campaign.

He made his Stevenage debut in the Carabao Cup defeat away at Charlton Athletic earlier in the season.

After playing in the Arsenal youth teams, where he was team-mates with former Borough forward Billy Vigar, he joined Ipswich Town in the summer of 2023.

After his release from Portman Road in the summer, he enjoyed a successful trial with the League One side and will be looking to continue his development with Eastbourne Borough.
