Eastbourne Borough will travel to Hendon in the Second Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy after the draw today (Monday).

The Southern League Premier South side have beaten AFC Sudbury and then Walton & Hersham to reach the Second Round, and will now welcome the Sports to their Silver Jubilee Park home on November 18th.

Hendon were formerly an Isthmian Premier side, but were placed in the Premier South Division of the Southern League for the 2018/19 season as part of the restructuring of the non-League pyramid.

After just about avoiding relegation last season, the Greens have proved to be hard to beat this term. After 14 league games to date, they have suffered just three defeats – but have drawn seven games so far.

Despite being a step below the Sports, Mark Beard will know his side will have to be on their game if they are to avoid an upset.
