Eastbourne Borough are delighted to announce Archie Procter has extended his loan to the rest of the season.
The young defender joined from Dorking Wanderers on loan in the summer, and has featured in 21 of Borough’s 27 league games to date.
And new boss Adam Murray has seen enough already to extend his stay from the National League club to the end of the campaign.
“Assessing Archie over the short period I’ve been here and analysing the early games where I feel he played his best stuff, I believe we have a player with a lot of potential,” said Murray.
“I am very happy he has chosen to stay with us.
“He has high standards and understands what a professional environment needs to look like.
“I look forward to working with him closely.”
The young defender joined Dorking from Accrington Stanley in November 2022. Archie began his career in the youth ranks at AFC Wimbledon, making his debut for the the first team in the EFL Trophy in September 2020, coming off the bench in the second half against Charlton Athletic.
Throughout that campaign he would go out on loan to local based sides Met Police and Carshalton Athletic, prior to joining Maidstone United until the end of the season.
In the summer of 2021, Archie made the permanent switch to Accrington Stanley and after a season of featuring regularly in the EFL Trophy and for the U23s side, he made the move down south to Dorking last season.
The club can also announce that both Louis Collins and Lucas Defise have left the club. We would like to thank them for their efforts in their short time at Priory Lane and wish them both the best for the future.
