Eastbourne Borough are excited to welcome Andy Smith to the club as the new Goalkeeper Coach.

He joins after leaving Tonbridge Angels last week, having spent last season working with Tonbridge Angels.

Andy retired from football in 2015, and was also part of the successful Bracknell Town team in 2021/22, winning the Isthmian South Central with his goalkeepers earning 24 clean sheets and only conceding 12 goals

“It’s great to be here,” said the new coach.

“I’ve always wanted to work full-time in football, you can’t turn these opportunities down so when I knew there was a position here I couldn’t say no.

“The club has a lot of ambition and I look forward to working with Adam, Stuart and the team.”

Andy was in the dugout for Saturday’s trip to Bath and we look forward to seeing him working with Ben, Harrison and Fin at Priory Lane.
