Eastbourne Borough can announce that Alfie Bendle will remain at Priory Lane for the rest of the season after his loan from Forest Green Rovers has been extended.
After joining on an initial one-month loan, the midfielder has started all three of the Sports’ fixtures since his arrival.
This is Alfie’s second spell with the club after making 11 appearances towards the end last season on loan from AFC Wimbledon before he was recalled by the EFL League One side.
Bendle made 17 first team appearances for the Dons having joined in 2021, and left for Forest Green Rovers in the summer.
“We are delighted to have Alfie with us for the rest of the season,” said boss Adam Murray.
“His performances have grown with each game. We feel like he can really effect the final part of the season in a positive way.”
