Eastbourne Borough will travel to Meadow Park to face fellow National League South side Boreham Wood in the Third Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy.

The draw, which was made live on TalkSport 2 this afternoon (18 November), sees Adam Murray’s side take on Boreham Wood for a third time this season.

It comes after the two teams were drawn against each other in the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round – a tie which Wood won 1-0 at The ReachTV Stadium.

Borough avenged that loss with a 2-1 win in the National League South in October, with George Alexander and Finn Ballard McBride goals seeing them come from behind to win all three points.

And after seeing off fellow National League South promotion hopefuls Dorking Wanderers in the Second Round, Borough again face a side – who like Dorking – were relegated from Step One last season.

The tie will take place on Saturday 7 December. Further details regarding tickets etc will be announced in due course.
