Eastbourne Borough Under 18s sealed their first Isthmian Youth League South win since October as they came from behind to beat Bognor Regis Town.

The young Sports had gone in front early on courtesy of Matt Searle, who got in front of his marker to head home a Harry Marchant corner after just two minutes.

However, as the half wore on it was the visitors who grew into the game – and two quick-fire goals saw Bognor go into half-time 2-1 up.

Shooting with the wind in the second half, the Sports produced a much more disciplined performance and deservedly drew level when Zak Tarrant fired a low drive into the bottom corner from twelve yards.

And Borough went in front with ten minutes to go when Sam Sharma found himself unmarked to bundle in a cross from the left.

Sharma then wrapped up all three points in stoppage time, running onto a ball over the top and lifting it over the advancing keeper.

A great three points for the young Sports, who are next in action next Monday (February 3rd) when they travel to Three Bridges.
