It was a goalscoring weekend for a couple of our loanees – with big impacts!

Alfie Pavey scored his first goal in his loan spell at Farnborough – giving them the lead at half-time away at Slough Town. However, Slavi Spasov’s second half effort meant the points were shared at Arbour Park.

Dan Quick played 90 minutes for Welling United as they made the trip to Truro City, but in an eventful game the Wings fell to a 3-2 defeat.

In the Southern Combination Premier, there was late drama at Saltdean United – where Borough loanee Delwin Duah powered home a stoppage time header to give Haywards Heath Town a 3-2 win at Hill Park.

Elsewhere, Will Harley started for Bexhill United – who extend their good run to just one defeat in eight games with a goalless draw at Horsham YMCA.

Good work, lads!
