Eastbourne Borough Women are delighted to announce that Becky Simmons has signed on for the 2025/26 campaign.

She follows Kellie Larkin and Charlotte Gurr in committing to The Sports as they look forward to their first season in the London & South East Regional Women’s League.

Simmons enjoyed a personal best season last term, scoring 33 goals across all competitions – including 27 in just eight league appearances as Chris Day’s side celebrated completing the Quadruple.

The forward is joined by captain Larkin and Gurr, who both played their part in the team’s success last term. Larkin enjoyed a prolific campaign from midfield – with 23 goals from her central role whilst playmaker Gurr added 22 goals herself.

Boss Day said: “I’m delighted that we already have 3 of our best players from last season commiting back to the club. Our list of retained players will hopefully be near 100% due to the structure and coaching we can offer.

“Kels showed what a great leader she is, and we are really happy she will be back with her high technical levels.

“Similarly with Gurrsy, whose data week in, week out was the best, and her sublime passing will help us push on in Tier 6.

“Although Becky is out injured at the moment we hope she’ll be back soon, and able to continue the great scoring streak she had last season.

“There will likely be a few new faces around the squad as well, and we have been working hard on recruiting the best Under 18s across the South East to push the Talent Pathway to the next level.”

The Women get their pre-season campaign underway on July 6th against Bowers & Pitsea at The ReachTV Stadium – kick off 3pm.
