Eastbourne Borough boss Matt Gray is looking for his side to build on the positives and take a good result away from Twerton Park tomorrow.
The Sports travel to Bath City searching for their first win of the Enterprise National League South campaign having drawn one and losing two of the three games to date.
The Romans have four points thus far – with a win, draw and defeat ahead of tomorrow’s clash.
“After a good away performance at Farnborough on the opening day, I feel like we have deserved more out of the two home games,” said Gray.
“It was certainly a better performance in the first half on Tuesday night, where we had some really good spells and we were obviously disappointed not to have gone in front.
“But now we look towards a tough away game against a big club in the division – and looking to turn the positives into a good result.”

Tomorrow’s hosts began with a draw at Worthing, before suffering defeat to Dover last Saturday. However, they followed that up with a midweek win over Salisbury to go into the game in good spirits.
Gray added: “From our point of view, we’ve been working hard over the last couple of days. We need to reinforce the positives that we’ve had and just improve a couple of things.
“We’re a new, young group and we’re always trying to develop the players and work on improving our quality. I know that getting that first win will give us plenty to build on.”
The Sports travel to Somerset with new signing Imani Lanquedoc available after joining the club this week.
Talking about the 21-year-old Fulham academy product, Gray said: “We’ve had Jayden out and Josh out, so it gives us another good option in attacking areas.
“He has just come out of Fulham having been there for many years in their Academy, can play either side or through the middle and hopefully he can be an exciting addition to our squad.”
The Borough boss also paid tribute to the travelling support, who we hope to have in numbers at Twerton Park.
“I look forward to seeing the supporters as always,” Gray said. “They were tremendous at our first away game at Farnborough, and they will be valuable to us as always.
“Hopefully we can make sure we all go home with something to cheer about.”
