Acorns Charitable Trust are the major shareholder of Eastbourne Borough Football Club CIC and the landowner of the site at Priory Lane. The site is not just a home for Eastbourne Borough Football Club it also hosts, Eastbourne Archers, Eastbourne Indoor Bowls Club, Langney Sports and Social Club and Owlets Nursey.
The charity was put in place to provide and maintain the playing fields and recreation ground, to facilitate and benefit the community at large. This includes persons who by reason of youth, age, infirmity, physical or mental disability, poverty, social or economic circumstances, with a view to improving their health and well-being.
The charity has ten trustees who are all volunteers, they carry out any work and maintenance that is required on the site, and assist local charities and individuals that support them, in particular through and into Sports and leisure.
