Winger Alfie joins the Sports after his release from League One side Portsmouth.

The 19-year-old represented Malta in the Euro Under 19 Championships last summer and is the next exciting addition to Mark Beard’s squad. The midfielder made two appearances in the Papa John’s Trophy for Portsmouth in 2021/22, before he spent last season on loan at Bognor Regis Town.

He was first called up to the Malta U19 squad in the summer of 2022, and has since made thirteen international appearances – scoring four times for his country.
