Biography

The 21-year-old forward joined The Sports in January 2025 on loan from EFL League Two side Barrow, having had a successful first half of the season with Barton Rovers. Born in Congo DR, he has scored 15 goals and provided eight assists across 29 games for the Southern League side this season.

Shamalo played youth football for Luton Town, but then took a break from football in his mid-teens. However, after playing for his local college, he joined AFC Dunstable where he made his first team debut when he was 17.

After scoring six goals in 13 games at the start of last season, he joined Barton Rovers where he enjoyed a prolific goalscoring return, thus earning his move to the EFL and Barrow.
